The Greco-Bactrians are the result of a nice melting pot made of those folks who were left behind by Alexander the Great and the indigenous population of today's Afghanistan. The Greco-Bactrians had an interesting, heterogeneous army, combining lots of cavalry, light and medium troops, and the heavy sarissophoroi.
